Master Artist Seminar with Robert Bateman
Hollyhock on Cortes Island, British Columbia
A memorable, educational and inspirational filled week with Master wildlife painter Robert Bateman.
It was a life changing seminar in working so closely with Bob in learning ways to explore the ideas and techniques that make a successful painting and how to foster creative ideas for a strong work of art.
During the seminar, Bob offered numerous tips on techniques and an effective critique of our works in a group setting. Daily hikes brought inspiration on such a beautiful island of Cortes.
Bruce St. Clair at Canadore College
North Bay, Ontario
Educational and creative week with Canada's Foremost realist artist, Bruce St. Clair. Study in Watercolor painting techniques, concepts and practice followed by individual critique were the focus of the workshop. On site sketch and photography field work, the importance of concepts necessary for a strong composition were highlights of this workshop. Great works of art in the College Gallery were examined and discussed, fueling creativity.

This Raptor photography workshop with Raymond Barlow was both fascinating and exticing to learn about detailed camera setting & instructions, species habits and overview, explanation of creating dynamic and interesting images of the beautiful raptors, followed by photoshop presentation on organizing reference photos and images workflow.
Muskoka Center - Wildlife Photography Workshop - Raymond Barlow
How exciting it was to be so close to wildlife in this photography workshop with Raymond Barlow. Camera settings and instructions prior to entering the enclosures for captivating face-to-face photography with the wolves, lynx, moose and other amazing creatures at the wildlife centre. Substantial coaching, composition, movement and camera setting checks were provided while photographing the animals.
Watercolors with Lorraine Tunley
A 3 day workshop in watercolor painting with Rayne Tunley in beautiful Ganaraska canoe camp. Techniques, concepts, practice, onsite sketching and theory in composition were the focus of this workshop.
